Husk Gallery is delighted to present the second solo show of Berlin-based German artist Inge H. Schmidt (°1952, Wiehe) in its gallery space. The exhibition 'Facing the Desert 'features Inge H. Schmidt’s American desertscapes created during her travel to Arizona and Utah in 1995 and her journeys to the Chihuahua desert in 2012 and 2014. The Desert series is part of her extensive oeuvre which regularly features the landscape genre as a result of her travels to distant lands.
