Husk Gallery is delighted to participate in the 4th edition of Art Antwerp with Peter Depelchin, Dirk Eelen and Juanan Soria.
The artworks selected for presentation at Husk Gallery's booth are unified by a specific focus on the theme of "memory". While each of these three artists has their own unique style and approach, the drawings and paintings at Husk Gallery's booth will share a common thematic thread that seeks to highlight the 'unknown' and the 'forgotten'. Their works represent a dialogue about history and beyond, exploring how the past is embedded in our collective and personal memory, and how it evolves over time. They examine the boundaries of what we remember, the processes of historical interpretation and re-enactment, and the vital role of art in preserving memories and knowledge at risk of being lost.
